i can't swear to it, but i think you have a room that has extra beds in it, meaning there are bottom beds and then top beds that are folded against the wall.  but you can always call carnival or your travel agent to be for sure.  have a great cruise!!

All that means is that in addition to the twin beds that will convert to a King, there are 2 beds that will pull out of the ceiling or wall if needed.  If you don't need them, your room steward will never pull them out.  Otherwise, you probably won't even notice that they're there.

    Re: "Upper Beds"???

Your room has two twins (or maybe a fixed Queen in some cases) and a foldown upper bunk on the right and left walls.  The bunks fold up against the wall.  Since this looks to be a "Guarantee" room, the only issue is that if Carnival eventually needs this room for a 3rd or 4th passenger, they might re-assign you to another (presumably "better") room before sailing.  ken

are the room sizes the same? I'm traveling solo.. and I'm in a 2 upper room... clearly dont need the 3 extra beds.. if the room is the same size, I probably wont care if I cant see them anyway..

All 'regular' cabins are about the same size. Balconies, suites or penthouse cabins have a different sq. footage.
